The famous Nostradamus 1999 quatrain has been claimed to have predicted a nuclear war in 1999, and the terrorist attacks of september 11th 2001. Did Nostradamus predict 9/11 then? Simple answer: NO! Like so many of the alleged Nostradamus prophecies, the original French has been (often deliberately) mistranslated. The butchered version of this prediction is as follows:
In 1999 and seven months,
From the sky will come the great king of terror,
To bring back to life the great king of the Mongols.
Before and after, war reigns happily.
