Anyone feeling old yet? The Nintendo 64 was released in Japan on June 23, 1996 and in North America on September 29, 1996. This is a tribute to as many N64 games as I could fit in one video! I wanted to make this more personal, so I filmed my room and my own N64 that surprisingly still works after all these years. I was always Pikachu in Super Smash and Yoshi in Mario Party 2. I have a lot of fond memories playing these games with my brother and friends. Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are two of my top favorites and the music by Koji Kondo pretty much made my entire childhood!
I submitted this video to Anime Central, a convention in Chicago, Illinois. It took part in an online part of the AMV contest called Masquerade where editors come together to stream videos and give feedback. There were so many good videos and I wasn't expecting to win anything, especially not Best Sentimental! Thank you to everyone who voted! It was also nominated for Best in Show!
I also couldn't NOT add the OH MY GOD video!! Classic! I hope this video brings back a lot of good memories! This song was written specifically for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and perfectly encapsulates Nostalgia!
