Hello! I felt like playing a song for you without any filter, straight from my car, as if you were sitting right here beside me.
Here is Nos Élans de Vie, a song from my latest EP.
I often wonder where my place is, what I’m here for,
who really wants my talent, my words, my melodies,
when people make me feel like I’m not enough,
and say that if I want to “sell”, I should change a little —
my look and my music, which are far too gentle,
that for the general public I should be less polite,
that a jaded expression has almost become a trend.
But I don’t want that — I’ll keep playing without all those imposed codes.
My head is full, my heart is beating fast,
a thousand veins boiling inside me,
a desire for stages, for everything to fall into place,
bursts of light, ideas flying every second.
I open the floodgates and the words overflow.
Create, muse — speak to me of muses —
I respond to waves, I vibrate with them.
And I want us to surrender without hesitation
to what these ripples offer us.
I want us to become a source of energy again,
with nothing to restrain our Surges of Life.
