Force Reconnaissance Company (FORECON), 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion braved the cold for the Norwegian Military’s Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP) course in Norway from Feb. 3-27. The Marines conducted the LRRP to strengthen the interoperability, mobility, expeditionary readiness, and warfighting excellence between FORECON and the Norwegian Military. This course involved challenging long-range ski movements, cold weather survival training, and live-fire operations in harsh winter climates and mountainous terrains.
