Norway's King Harald, one of Europe’s oldest living monarchs, has died.
The 89-year-old was taken to hospital earlier this month where he was being treated for a bacterial infection in his blood, according to the royal palace.
Crown Prince Haakon will succeed his father and become Norway’s fourth king since separating from Sweden.
