Featured in so many instagram photos, calendars, and even a 'Bond film, the Atlantic Ocean Road on Norway's west coast is amazing, just don't expect it to be quite as desolate as usually pictured. Even inundated with tourist caravans, it was absolutely gorgeous and worth the detour, especially in context of the surroundings.

En Route to LeMans, we take a pit stop at a lost Formula 1 Circuit outside of Reims, France. One of the fastest tracks in Europe, Circuit de Reims-Gueux hosted the French Grand Prix on several occasions in addition to top level sportscar racing up until 1972. Now the stands and pits remain as a monument to that era of motorsports.

Continuing our Norwegian travel adventure, we cross the Arctic Circle and then head southwest toward Norways Atlantic coast! Our drive this time takes us through some breathtaking scenery including the area around the arctic circle, down to central Norway, and eventually out towards the Atlantic Ocean where we eventually stop for a couple of days to relax!

Arctic Circle Raceway, aka @acrarena is the northernmost road course in the world and they host a bi-annual motorsports festival, including one mid-summer when the sun never sets on the track! Renowned as a crown jewel of the Formula 1 calendar, and dating back to the beginnings of motor racing in Europe, Spa has long been on the bucket list and absolutely did not disappoint. Liz and I shipped our NSX to Europe and have been on something of a race track tour.
