Is this the end of retro motorcycles? It is for Norton. Norton is officially back with their second modern-era bike — the 2027 Norton Atlas — and it completely abandons 120 years of chrome-and-cafe-racer nostalgia for a clean, futuristic, modern British aesthetic.
We braved rain, international travel, and severe crosswinds to get our first ride on Norton’s brand-new middleweight adventure platform. Engineered in Solihull, UK and built by Indian parent company TVS, the Atlas packs a 585cc parallel-twin, adjustable suspension, and a full Bosch 6-axis electronics package.
Does this new direction have what it takes to disrupt the middleweight ADV market?
