«Isolering» is the product of several sessions recorded in 2020, during rehearsals for the Midgardsblot Metal Festival in Borre, Norway. The songs are live improvisations, with no editing or overdubs, giving the listener a chance to experience what Northumbria are like live in concert. The title, meaning Isolation in Norwegian, is an acknowledgment of how the current events in the world impacted not only our postponed journey to Norway, but everyday life... a life deeper and deeper in isolation and introspection.
