To reduce barriers for new development, a collective of Western Victorian councils recognised the need to improve the online experience for planning applicants and simplify the assessment process for council staff.
With $300,000 in funding from our Digital Planning Grants program, Northern Grampians Shire Council led a cooperative of four regional councils to deliver shared website upgrades. These upgrades provide standardised information to industry and developers, making their planning systems more user-friendly and easier to navigate for applicants.
