We’re making improvements to the intersection of Mount Alexander Road, Bulla, Keilor, and Lincoln roads to improve safety and accommodate the new G Class trams. The intersection provides a key connection to public transport and the Niddrie-Keilor Road Activity Centre.
Works will include:
- Fully signalising the tram movements at the intersection to improve efficiency and safety.
- Constructing a new dedicated right turn lane from Bulla Road into Keilor Road. The existing right turn lane will be converted into a dedicated right turn lane into Lincoln Road.
- Removing Stop 46 on Mount Alexander Road at Lincoln Road to make tram services more efficient and reliable.
Other works include providing safe crossing points for people to access Stop 47 on Keilor Road, installing tactile ground surface indicators and landscaping at the centre of the intersection.
