Healthcare services in North East Nigeria are set for a major diagnostic boost as the North East Development Commission, NEDC, procures advanced MRI and CT scan systems.

The Minister of State for Regional Development, **Uba Maigari Ahmadu**, inspected the equipment at **Neusoft Medical Systems in Shenyang, China**.

The advanced medical systems are expected to strengthen diagnostic services across the North East, improve access to quality healthcare and support efforts to rebuild critical infrastructure in the region.

The initiative is part of broader efforts under the Renewed Hope Agenda to improve healthcare delivery and access to modern medical facilities.
