Tormach Inc. | Norman's Employee Wave Memento for Tormapalooza 2024 @tormachinc | Uploaded October 2024 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
This past July Tormach invited its employees to celebrate the successful release of the 1500MX mill at our annual Tormapalooza in Madison, Wisconsin. Employee's from as far away as Poland, Mexico and Canada flew in to the celebration. Our own Norman wanted to make it extra special by milling out a memento based off of the first item we milled on the first 1500MX prototype. This memento has a a wave pattern and curved edges all around so he machined it using the microARC 6 4th axis for hte majority, used 3D printed workholding for the bottom. And then after he had the part sandblasted, he used the diamond drag engraver for the message.
