Norm MacDonald is one of the funniest people to ever live. I've watched through all of Norm's appearances on Conan and Letterman more times than I can count, and gone through the entire catalog of Norm MacDonald Live and Norm MacDonald Has a Show repeatedly. In this essay, I offer my response to Nerdwriter's Norm essay and break down how Norm takes old jokes and turns them into long, winding stories like the moth joke, the Kitchener Leslie story, and the youthful porpoise pun, and into unforgettable moments like Norm's roast of Bob Saget.
