Norfolk Southern Train 14M passes the railfan park in Harborcreek, PA. The trailing unit was a now rare 9500 series C44-9W. This is also the seconds time in a few months it made it on 14M. The 9500s are nearly all retired on NS.
The plaque pays homage to the Gauge War that took place near here in the 1850s. It was a turning point for American railroads and the nation as a whole.
