This matchbook style valentine was created for kids in mind. The items came from the Dollar Tree, and are non-candy fun! Whack-a-pack balloons are in one, and come 4 to $1.00 (or 6 to $1.98 at Walmart). The other has a mini gel pen and notebook: the pens are 12 to a package, and the notebooks are 8 to a package, so for $5.00, you can have enough for 24 valentines.
I used what I had around, and you can get quite creative with different colors of card stock and patterned papers.
And, I did not mention this in the video, but let the kids decorate the front! Cut a heart that fits, or let them cut one out, or just let the color the front and add the "to and from" names.
Most importantly, don't let them slide into the "love" that society dictates, but try to impart the sacrificial love of our Creator, Himself, a love that is timeless and never-ending.
