In this installment of "I buy Cheap Chinese electronics so you don't have to", I take a look at a 12 volt DC 180 watt computer power supply. It's actually very cleanly manufactured, but how well does the seemingly brand-less PSU work?
Bonus points if you read the description this far-- I'm well aware of the audio problem that develops at certain points in the video. Unknown to me at the time of filming, my inverter creates some sort of interference, and me operating the camera only one metre away caused said interference to manifest as static in the microphone's recording at times.
Super-Bonus "Wow, you're still reading" trivia answer: The high pitched beeps indicate an overheat condition. What's strange is that nothing was overheated.
