This is Not a Babbington Burner but another design that uses a pressurised tank for air and fuel Delivery. This waste oil burner is shown heare heating drums of Used vegetable oil for Biodiesel making and uses the "T" fitting to mist the fuel. Air comes in one side and the waste oil fuel comes in on the other. There are no jets or Nozzles, the end of the copper tube is flattened to create the spray of Oil.
Fuel oil is regulated with a needle valve and the air pressure is regulated from the compressor. The fuel lights instantly but when burning in a tube as shown, the piece of metal acts like a glow plug to keep the flame Lit.
