A mobile, directional luminaire conceived for temporary use within domestic spaces. Formed in silicone, the object supports intuitive, tactile interaction. The variable cable routing enables the luminaire to be carried, suspended, or temporarily placed without assigning it a fixed position within the room.
As a deliberate counterproposal to portable battery-powered lights, the design rejects technical autonomy and instead positions the cable as the central design element. The cable structures reach, movement, and return, making the connection to infrastructure visible rather than concealing it.
With a reach of four meters, the luminaire addresses transitional situations of everyday life-moments in which light is not permanently installed, yet required immediately.
