WHY I SET MYSELF UP IN A RAGING SEA OF FLAMES

finally, the product of 4-ish months of trial and error is here, right on time for halloween! this was a real passion project and a big learning experience, as this video is my second serious attempt at stop motion and my first time creating an art doll like this completely from scratch! i wanted to record the process of actually making ashfur for a fun side video but my setup is just awful and i barely had room to shoot this video let alone the process (seriously, i was balancing my shitty phone on a stack of books to shoot this). i might post some wip images over on my twitter though! anyways, i'm proud of myself even though i know there's a lot i could do better, and i do plan to do more stuff like this. i hope you enjoy this video!
sidenote, this isn't an animation meme, i obviously don't own the song and can't stop you from animating stuff to it but i'd appreciate it if you didn't take the structure of this video!
