Noel Johnston, holding a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Music in Studio/Jazz Guitar from the University of Southern California, serves on the jazz guitar faculty at UNT and co-owns Lone Star Music Academy. As a versatile performer and recording artist, he has released five albums as a leader, performed with artists like Lucky Peterson, Kenny Wheeler and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and appears regularly as a session guitarist in the DFW area, including on the Daystar TV network and at Bethesda Community Church.
