I've had some nocturnal friends with whiskers stop by and I thought I'd show you a recipe I make beast treats with!

Beast Treat Recipe:
4 cups oat flour or old-fashioned oats, optional coconut flour
2 Tbsp. Flax Meal
5 Tbsp. water
1 mashed ripe banana ( use 2 and omit the pumpkin if you like)
1/2 cup plain pumpkin puree (don't use pumpkin pie filling-it has spices)
1/2 cup peanut butter natural, without salt
2 Tbsp. melted coconut oil
Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 325 degrees F/ 162 degrees C.
-Add the water and flax meal together in a small bowl and let it gel.
-Add oats to a blender or food processor and pulse until a flour-like consistency, set aside.
-In a medium bowl mash banana, add pumpkin puree, peanut butter, gelled flax meal and melted coconut oil.
-Stir in flour and knead until moistened. Turn dough onto a surface lightly dusted with flour. Use your hands and shape dough into a 1/4-inch thick circle. Use a small to medium doggie cutter, cut out treats, and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet or non-stick cookie sheet. Bake until golden, approximately 25-30 minutes. If your treats are on the smaller side you can bake for less time, 15-20 min.
-Makes approximately 40-50 (2-inch) treats.
