From its unique vantage point, a million and a half kilometers from Earth at Lagrange Point 1, NOAA introduces a next generation satellite called Space Weather Follow On L1 (SWFO-L1). The SWFO-L1 observatory is the first of its kind, designed to be dedicated to full time operational space weather observations. By keeping an eye on the Sun’s activity without interruption, it will give us quicker and more accurate forecasts than ever before.
