NOAA and our partners are conducting hurricane research in order to better understand tropical cyclones, improve forecasts, and protect lives and property. Using the NOAA Hurricane Hunter aircraft, uncrewed aircraft systems, surface ocean vehicles, undersea gliders and more, we are gathering critical data about the storms.
