Loneliness is not an inevitable part of aging. In this episode of Workin’ It Out, Dr. Vanessa Weaver highlights DC’s Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) and Alfred Street Baptist Church - two organizations using creative, community-based and spiritual programs to reduce loneliness and increase happiness among diverse seniors.
