The Atlantic published a article calling for a "pandemic amnesty" over the events of the last 2.5 years entitled "Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty". There should not be any, especially for the anime convention scene and the cosplay community on how they excluded and pushed away anyone that disagreed or pushed for a return to normal and labeled them as "Republicans" and "Trump supporters" and thus irreversibly changed their community for the worse. Instead they should be admitting guilt and fault, and make amends to every person (attendee, staff member, and volunteer) they excluded via their policies they imposed since 2021. Anything less is unacceptable
