Hello, beautiful creatures! Today's video is about perimenopause, menopause and PMDD. I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice. I'm sharing my personal life experiences and symptoms to watch out for. No one warned me about any of these things, no one wants to talk about it, and it's been difficult to find doctors to help me. This information is accurate to the best of my abilities, but if anything is wrong, please let me know in the comments! I'm still learning.
Edit: I mispoke in the video. Dr. Brad Stanfield does not recommend NMN, but he was the one who put DoNotAge on our radar. Dr. Stanfield's channel is excellent for evidence-based health information.
On a very personal note, I am not doing great physically. I have overstressed my body by having multiple surgeries in a very short timeframe. I do not recommend this. However, I made this decision for my mental health as I need to get closure on my breast cancer saga. It still blows my mind that I'm a breast cancer survivor (stage 0). I struggle to rest and have enough down time because I so desperately want to discover my new normal. I've pushed myself too hard on a few occasions and that has slowed me down. I'm not currently able to drive or lift over 10 lbs.
I have a lot of great beauty and fashion content planned, but I needed to get this video off my chest and out there. One of my many sleepless nights convinced me that it might help others. I have a ton of new foundations for wear tests and reviews, a video on my eye surgery, and a follow up video on my second breast reconstruction.
