its lavendertail! also just realized i forgot part of his design fuk _(:3 」∠)_ oh well,,,,
the backstory for this is that in thistleclan they have a tradition where when a cat dies, a thistle seed is planted in the garden of passed on. so when lavenderpaws mother, ivytalon, is murdered, he begins to question if clan life really is for him and considers going to live with his other mother and father(both kittypets), but that would involve leaving his brother alone in the clan. so rather than become a warrior, lavender decides to follow the path of camp tender, a position that involves taking care of nursery cats and kits, the elders, and maintaining the garden. he finds peace and comfort in his new role and it helps him come to terms with the loss of his mother.

this is loosely a companion to another wip map part(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-XYqxObj6Q)?? but anyways, the story behind this is when monica finally tells her crush(millie) that she has feelings for her and millie, who has a boyfriend and is only recently realizing shes a lesbian kinda freaks out and cuts moni off for a little bit before accepting that she loves monica too. so she calls/texts monica and is like hi... i luv u... and they live happily ever after :)

didnt go into make this intending for it to be a meme, but it ended up sorta being like one so why not? definitely feel free to make your own and be sure to let me know if you do so i can see it!
also... couple updates...... this was for my ae class and we were looking at 3d layers so thats what i used for the text. took some trial and error to figure it out haha but i like the effect. kinda worried for the future of this class since i dont have a computer that can handle running after effects and my school is going remote for the rest of the semester
as for the characters, these are my incredibly self indulgent gay cowboy cats.......... their names are rose(purple cat) and rye(orange cat). i dont have too much of their story set in stone, but the basic premise here is that rye is starting to realize hes gay and in fear he runs away on his horse while rose is really upset because hes a lot more confident in his sexuality and just wants rye to recognize and accept his feelings.")

idk if anyone will even watch this/find it interesting but ive wanted to do a speedpaint of the drawing+editing of a map part for a while.
i actually dont really like speedpaints typically(they make me rlly nauseous) but i thought itd be fun to see the whole process from start to finish. whichhhh as you can see im kind of a mess with my editing haha. kept messing things up with leafpool and then puppet tool wasnt working with me this time but i found some other handy techniques thatll be great in the future! as i said in the original upload of the part, im really pleased with how this turned out :0 its simple but effective i think
