Hear the mountains crying
All little streams of life
Small critters that sing loud
And big winds that break clouds
From feathers that slice skies
To the chasms of our minds
I walk the wandering eye
To all places in time
Memories are pieces of change
Shaping the puzzles of our brains
No matter no more
All matter is flawed
Only what exists in each moment
Through each minute
What can fade is how we love
And how we play
How we are inside
That always stays
No matter the days, the nights,
The waves, all motion that sways
The sun, the moon
And all that blooms
I am safe, in my wake, in my sleep
And with all my prayers I ask of you
However we travel
And wherever we go
Even if mountains apart
One day we will show
And wherever my feet
And wherever my hands
As long as I am here
With all my love
If we do meet
We will know
Hear the mountains crying
All little streams of life
Small critters that sing loud
And big winds that break clouds
From feathers that slice skies
To the chasms of our minds.
I walk the wandering eye
Memories are pieces of change
Shaping the puzzles of our brains
