The Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra | No Man's Sky - Trailer Orchestra (65daysofstatic Debutante Orchestra) @syntheticorchestra | Uploaded June 2015 | Updated October 2024, 1 week ago.
Here's an orchestration of a song used in the trailer of the game I'm probably most excited for - Hello Games' No Man's Sky. The track is from a recent album by 65daysofstatic (who are also working on the game's soundtrack).
Does it really count as a video-game orchestration? Probably not, but thanks to the first trailer, it's the tune most people associate with No Man's Sky at the moment. It proved a bit difficult to translate from the style of the original, so I tried to focus on the building melody throughout the piece while playing with rhythms and patterns.
