It is hard to get a Fast Pass at more popular attractions, and many people have to stand in the Standby line even longer because the privileged people who have a Fast Pass walk right past the Standby people...
As unfair as it is to give privilege to some at the cost to others in waiting time, how should people doing all that extra waiting feel when they witness others getting special access through the Fast Pass line WITHOUT HAVING A FAST PASS??!
It happens more then you may think, and it often goes unnoticed as those in the standby line think everyone plays the game fairly and by the same rules.
This particular day i watched as a large group of Guests congregated near the Jungle Cruise entrance dressed in look a like Jungle Cruise clothing as if part of a club.
Then the group hit the Fast Pass line and walked right in as all those in standby watched and waited like second class citizens for their turn after the privileged group passed through.
Knowing how hard it is to get Fast Pass, it struck me odd that so many could meet and get advance Fast Pass for the same time slot, so i hung around to see what happened when they got off the ride.
As they exited, the group met with others dressed alike near the entrance, and after a few minutes they ENTERED THE FAST PASS LINE AGAIN.
What you see on this video is that second entrance through Fast Pass and as you can see, NO ONE HAS A FAST PASS because no one stops to activate their Fast Pass at the turnstile entrance.
The magic circle has to change color to green to pass through, but no one was asked to do so.
Knowing once you get a booking on Fast Pass, you CANNOT get a second booking for the sane ride in the same time slot, so clearly, these people were given special privilege without having Fast Pass at all.
Right after they entered, i walked up to the cast member at the Fast Pass entrance and i asked why these people could enter without having a Fast Pass...
Caught in the Fast Pass Scam, the cast member did not know what to say, and stumbled for an answer...
Then i was told that the cast member gave these people an "extra magical moment"...!
I replied, that is i very nice...
But how about all these people standing in the standby line who are now standing there even longer because others were given special privileges...???
Was that an extra magical moment for these other people too??
I asked, don't we get an extra magical moment...
No answer was offered.
The basic problem comes down to the core of a system that gives privilege and advantages to some, but the price for that privilege is paid by the others who now stand all the longer like second class citizens.
