Cyberpunk Edgerunners made Cyberpunk 2077 sky rocketed its concurrent player count. Netflix's Edgerunners anime was a masterpiece with David Martinez and Lucy breaking all our hurts. But did Cyberpunk Edgerunners really save Cyberpunk 2077, the game? Maybe Liberty Phantom will save Cyberpunk 2077? Edgerunners achieved a spectacular goal whereas I feel Cyberpunk 2077 never reached the same quality as Edgerunners did even with the Edgerunners update in CyberPunk 2077. Edgerunners surely made things easy and assisted but it seems like Cyberpunk 2077 just wasn't able to capitalize it.
