What does it take to launch a business from scratch? In Entrepreneurship 155E: Managing the New Venture, Fresno State students don't just learn entrepreneurship—they live it.
As part of the Craig School of Business, students spend the semester creating and operating two real pop-up businesses, making every major decision along the way. From product development and trademark licensing to marketing, retail operations, and sales, they gain the hands-on experience and industry-ready skills that employers—and future entrepreneurs—value.
This Course Spotlight follows students as they transform an idea into a successful business while building leadership, confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through experiential learning.
At Fresno State, learning extends beyond the classroom. Through unique, real-world experiences and industry-connected opportunities, students graduate prepared to launch careers, create businesses, and make a positive impact in the Central Valley and beyond.
