The No. 35 Squadron C-27J Spartan is a uniquely capable tactical airlift platform, which bridges the gap between Army helicopters and larger #AusAirForce mobility aircraft. ✈️📦🪂
Much like the C-130J Hercules and C-17A Globemaster, the C-27J Spartan can:
✅ Airdrop cargo and paratroops in-flight
✅ Airlift a variety of cargo loads
✅ Conduct aeromedical evacuation of sick or wounded personnel
✅ Search and Rescue (SAR)
✅ Conduct aerial maritime surveillance operations
