Ghana reawakening in 1957,
was first light after a long night.
Why do we forget what Nkrumah said:
“Our freedom is meaningless without Africa’s.”
He dreamed a united continent:
one army, one currency, one voice.
Imagine customs gates dissolving,
railways crossing old scars,
a market big as our hope.
