How to GET RID OF blue hair dye! @JannaNiki

Janna Niki It's time for a colour change; in this video I'll show you how to get rid of blue hair dye. I actually had a mix of blue and green hair dye in my hair, but I'm sure this product will work for any colour of direct dye. I didn't even know until after I dyed my hair green and then blue that green/blue dyes are said to be some of the hardest colours to get out of your hair!! That being said I am so happy that this product worked as well as it did. Watch the video to watch the steps I took to bring my hair back to blonde with minimal damage. Also, I hope you don't mind the long intro, I wanted to give you as much information as possible :).

STEPS:
Step #1: Bleach roots (optional) mix powder and 20 vol as directed plus Olaplex No. Left on for 20ish min.

Step #2: Shampoo lightner from hair, towel dried. Apply Olaplex No2 on hair and leave on for 10-15min. Then shampoo, and deep condition using Olaplex No5 for 10 min. Rise and air dry.

Step #3: Mix Joico colour eraser with 3oz of 20 vol developer plus Olaplex No1 and apply to coloured hair. Left on for about 25min.

Step #4: Shampoo colour eraser from hair, towel dried. Apply Olaplex No2 on hair and leave on for 10-15min. Then shampoo, and deep condition using Olaplex No5 for 10 min. Rise and air dry.

HOW TO WASH TAPE IN HAIR EXTENSIONS| 2 WAYS!

Janna Niki 2020-08-29 | In this video I'll show you two ways I wash my hair when I have tape in hair extensions. The first method I'll show you is a low maintenance "half wash" where I only wash the top part of my hair, this is great to do when you don't have time to wash and dry all of your hair but you need a little root refresh. Next I'll show you how I wash and dry all of my hair with my hair extensions, I usually only do this process about once a week because it does take some time to do, in between washes I'll either do the half wash or use some dry shampoo too keep my hair feeling fresh.

SHAMPOO/ CONDITIONER RECOMMENDATIONS:
When looking for shampoos be sure to AVOID:
-Sulfates
-Volumizing/ thickening shampoos (these can cause your bonds to lift open)
-Purple shampoos, (these can discolour your extensions)
-Products with extreme hydrating oils, if you leave oils on your bonds for too long it can weaken them. I have found regular hydrating shampoos are fine, you just want to avoid putting conditioner or a hair mask right on the tapes as this can cause them to weaken and slide.

When buying tape in hair extensions for yourself for the first time it can be intimidating, you're probably asking yourself how many packs do I need, how many grams, or how many pieces? I am going to break it all down and take you through my thought process when shopping for tapes.

But after dying my hair green my hair faded to a dusty blue colour so I thought it made sense to do a blue hair look next. I am using the colour Aquamarine from Arctic Fox to achieve this colour. :)
