I don't know how many tries I recorded because by the end I was too drained to count them. Roughly a dozen; also some aborted ones near the end. This one was towards the end of them before I inevitably started to decline, and the one stupid mistake I made was due to mental exhaustion, possibly coming down from a sugar high.
The upside was that this song is really fun and uplifting, otherwise I likely wouldn't have tried so many times. And it is repetitive enough that it helps with training for it. Just gotta figure out the patterns.
What helped me do the sequences at 0:55, 1:36 and 2:17 correctly was to switch my mind from timing mode into count mode: I just looked at which keys I'll have to press how many times and then did that in quick sucession.
BTW, the non-fluid scrolling animation is bothering me. Hard to get into the rhythm with that.
