My wife and I went to Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks a couple months ago and we took the NiteIze RH1 and RH2 headlamps just in case. We were happy we did as we wanted to hike Mist trail up to Vernal falls and we had to get to the trail head before 7am when they closed it for maintenance. With the headlamps, we left over an hour before sunrise and were able to get to Vernal Falls with no one else around. It was like our own private 300' tall waterfall. Then we pushed up to Nevada Falls for more amazing views. I am so glad we had the headlamps with us to get a headstart on the hike. It was about 7 miles total with 1,500 feet of elevation gain.
