Hello all! There seems to be some confusion as to what the wind element does, ranging from "It's useless on yokai" to "It increases the amount of ki damage received while guarding". I too, was curious about this so I decided to test it. This clip of 55 seconds will show what the wind element really does.
To begin, 0:16 you can see the damage done to me by the Ogress' ground pound without the wind debuff is 1406. Now, at 0:52, you can see that the damage done to me with the wind debuff is 641. That's about a 55% decrease in damage.
Does this make Wind the best element in the game? In some builds, I'm sure it becomes a very important elemental effect. :)
