This video will show you how to avoid picking up the key that leads to the boss room in the mission "Memories of Death-Lillies".
Unfortunately I don't think this skip will be used in speedruns as it requires you to do the "Warrior: Novice" dojo mission
skills required:
(spear)
Flying monkey: I
Flying monkey: II
(sword)
Iai Quickdraw: I
or
(dual swords)
Sign of the Cross: I
Instructions:
Dash/roll against the wall until you push your character in between the two walls. You'll notice your character starts to jiggle and goes further into the wall if you've done it correctly.
Dash once more in the small space between the two walls and walk to the right as much as possible.
Equip your spear and face your character to the locked door and do the Flying monkey: I with Flying monkey: II quickly afterwards. If done correctly you will land on top of the wall.
You'll notice there is an invisible wall preventing you from moving across. Switch to your sword and do a Iai Quickdraw to pass through the invisible wall.
