This fight is fucking stressful as fuck, and one of the lasers they use in the beginning is nearly impossible to avoid.

The 'no dodging' part of the title refers to the i-frame dodge and the roll, not sprinting to avoid attacks. The purpose is to prove that you can beat the bosses without using any of the basic survival mechanics in the game.
