This boss is located in Heian - Hachijo - Anneibo Temple - when facing the shrine turn left and climb up the scaffolding, then you can drop into a slightly hidden cave with this boss at the end. Has a golden chest icon on map and there's a spirit vein on the way too. You need to backtrack for it later in the game. It will be too hard during the story, just come back for it after the story and it'll be very easy.
