From my red 3DS XL (my 2nd DS), 2014-2016. I was 9-11 years old then. I had Nintendogs + Cats since 2012 and still love it
I’m thinking of doing a new series featuring stuff from my 3DS and DSi camera galleries. I’ve been sitting on this for YEARS! But I’ve been thinking about sharing it especially since a while back I backed up the SD cards of very large photo galleries full of memories and silly things.
When little I dreamed of uploading some 3DS camera stuff to YouTube one day, so I’m finally realizing that! Crazy how long it took to get to it.
NOTES:
I know, the handwriting sucks. And embarrassing spelling errors I made back then (how many can you spot?). You can comment if you want anything “translated” by me… Or you could challenge yourself at deciphering the words. I know not many people are gonna check this out (which is sad but it’s the way YouTube is) so didn’t feel like spending hours making subtitles, sorry
Not everything reads left to right. A few go right to left.
These stories were never named originally. I came up with the titles just today for the video
The only one I remembered over the years is A Nintendogs Story. The one where I noticed how silly the inconsistency is and took advantage. Sadly as you can see I never continued it, despite the “to be continued”. There was no outlining or planning, I just came up with it on the go. That’s the result.
Yes, one of these was a silly glitch I discovered myself with the cat going for the water and the present being missing.
Yes, the quality sadly IS this bad on the 3DS. These were taken right off its SD card.
I can explain the cats’ names in the country home. I used to read Warriors. I only read the first series before getting bored of it and leaving it behind, though I happened to like the comics enough to keep them.
All my pets here are girls, except for the Labrador and Warriors inspired cats
For the two people interested in seeing a piece of my childhood and creative side with DSs, there’s more to come, including for Nintendogs! It’s really interesting exploring these memories…
