With all 156 speedrun challenges in Nintendo World Championships NES Edition completed with all S Ranks, a new challenge has appeared in the main menu called the Legendary Trial! The Legendary Trial is a lengthy speedrun challenge that covers all 13 Legend-tier challenges in a row! This will take between 25-30 minutes to complete.
Though I got an overall S rank for my final total time, I wasn't able to get all S ranks on the individual challenges due to my unfamiliarity with Excitebike and choking in Super Mario Bros. 1. I want to keep trying this until I get a clean run with all S Ranks.
You may have already seen some of my previous Shorts showing off some of my S Rank runs on these individual challenges, but I also wanted to do a Longform video series to show the grinding process toward those S Ranks and show just how much practice and precision is required to do an effective speedrun.
