DLC can be great, if done right. But lately Nintendo has been focusing a lot on the wrong type of DLC, and that's vital DLC.

Vital DLC is content that feels like it was supposed to be included in the base game and was delivered after the launch of what feels like an unfinished game *cough* New Horizons *cough*, only then making it feel complete.

And if this trend of using vital DLC to support a game post launch continues, it might ruin the future of video games... *dramatic music*
