Cooking chocolate cakes in the Ninja Smartlid using the STEAM BAKE feature is a real treat. This recipe was one I leant years ago and is simply called a quick mix cake because you dump all the ingredients in a bowl and stir. I’ve added chocolate to mine but you could make a vanilla cake or scatter some of your favourite dried fruit in. My mum makes an orange and salta a versions which is just delicious.
