We rented a Nikon D500 for some photos and I decided to do a quick comparison with the Sony A6300 for 4K video. After figuring out it had a weird additional 1.3x crop factor in 4K I decided to shoot some side by side with the GH4 as well.
Overall I think it did pretty well. It's certainly a still camera that also has 4K and not a go to video camera like the GH4 or A6300. The crop isn't crippling, but it is annoying considering you have to have a 12mm lens to cover a little wider than a 24mm equivalent. Anyway, enjoy!
