Nikki & Julie try traditional French Raclette; A traditional meal, that has been passed down from generation to generation by the villagers of the Alps in France and Switzerland.

Made up of a large round of cow’s milk cheese also known as Raclette cheese, melted on a stove top or in the campfire until it can be scraped in a large seamless stream; served with boiled potatoes and fresh charcuterie (a platter of meat).

The word “raclette” comes from the French word racler which means “to scrape.”
