Idk what to say about July lol

In a way July sucked.
I've not been a fan of July since 2019, when my grandpa broke his back on the 4th and my grandma died ten days later on the 14th. July hasn't really been a good month since then... Maybe even before then actually.

It wasn't as bad as that year though!
My dad was in Washington DC area for about a month with his parents, and he came back on the 3rd. He wanted to be back in time to go see fireworks with me on the 4th since that's been a tradition of ours for a few years now. Unfortunately since the 4th was on a Sunday this year, they did a different location and we didn't realize. So we had to go to our usual spot again on Monday since that's when they did them there. XD
We were so close that debris was literally falling on us, and that was after we backed up across the street to sit on a bench too. I had pieces of fireworks in my hair. X'D

July 3rd also would have been my grandparent's anniversary... I think 60 years.
The 14th marked two years since we lost my grandma. Her sister actually just moved out here this month, so we all went to the cemetery and then out to eat and visited. During the last few years my grandma would say the phrases "oh brother" and "can you believe" a lot, so we were telling stories and stuff.
I still remember the stupid Geico commercial where the guy throws his wallet into the water behind him and my grandma was like, "Oh brother!" XD
I really want to gather stories and write them down somewhere. Even just over the years I've forgotten so many things I wanted to remember for a long time. It's how memories work, but I hate it.

So yeah... I had work, chiropractor, the usual stuff...
HOPEFULLYYYYY this is my last month of working part time! If not, I'm just askdjfh. I've been waiting since October, when I was hired, to be made full time, and working almost full time hours the entire time, so I'm askdjfh
My boss said July is the end of the quarter and they'll know more in August now. Also four part-time people left because of school/college so. Fingers crossed. I want the pay raise and benefits please lol

I did Pokemon Go Fest with my dad! We didn't play together the entire time, but we drove around to different parking lots and parks. I got 40 (!!!) shiny Pokemon on day one. Then I did a bunch of raids on day two... no shiny from them, but I did get three shiny Feebas in the wild. X'D

The only movie my brother and I saw was Black Widow on July 10th. My dad tagged along too. It was alright, but the ending made me SO MAD. The part about Clint... Because these people know absolutely nothing and I'm just HNNNNNAKFSJH

Um... That's mostly it tbh
For some reason July was just exhausting though. I feel like I could sleep for a week and still be tired.

Also I've been crocheting more lately. I'm going to crochet a sunflower granny square cardigan, so I've been making granny squares as practice! I plan on using them to make a purse cuz Idk what else to do with them. XD
I finally finished knitting my first hat too! I started it back when my friend visited in April. Unfortunately I knit really tightly, so I had a lot of stitches in each row, so that's why it took me practically forever skdfj
I'm cross stitching too... I have too many time consuming hobbies lol

For MEP parts, I'm not a fan of like half of my parts... I was really struggling with inspiration early this month which wasn't fun. A few parts I edited with a fandom and then just aksdjfh I didn't like it so I would switch, and then still didn't really like it rip
You can probably tell which parts I had inspiration for and which I didn't lol

Also it's really funny to me... You know how some editors have a bunch of unfinished edits? And they just build up??? This is me with MEP sign-ups. Whoops. X'D
