Today Im back with another song I absolutely adore and this one's my second favourite of the new EP. I always love when we get new songs from Hitsugi because he has such a wide range in his songwriting and I dare say these are my favourite lyrics from him so far.
This one truly feels like it carries on the spirit of "RAD DREAM", both musically and lyrically. We continue to explore that intangible connection between you and me, the catchiness is there, the irony of reality vs pretense is there—everything you need to make a hit song you dance to, only to feel it collapse in the end and let all the emptiness and melancholy wash over you afterwards. I love it, and I hope you enjoy it too!
In different parts of the song you'll hear 「フフ」 (fufu) being sung, or even "fufu warau" in the outro and that means "to giggle" or "to snicker" in Japanese. With the song title and the lyrics in mind, it's such a clever addition from Hitsugi and it definitely elevates the song as a whole.
