We walked through Nightmare Experiment: Sweet Dreamzzz at SeaWorld San Diego’s Howl-O-Scream, and it was one of the most creative mazes of the night. The whole theme plays with the idea of dreams turning into nightmares, and the transitions between lighthearted, colorful scenes and darker, creepier ones really kept us on our toes.
The sets were imaginative—some rooms felt whimsical at first, but quickly shifted into unsettling territory. The scare actors leaned into that dream-turned-nightmare vibe, making the experience playful and creepy all at once. It wasn’t just about scares—it was about stepping into a twisted dream world that was a lot of fun to explore.
